OAKLEIGH, Australia - AussieJournal -- June 22^nd marked Station Square Dentals' annual event, bringing together the community in and around Oakleigh to celebrate straighter healthier teeth. This event has had great success in the past, and as such limited places were available to book in and attend this year's event.

Most people don't associate eating food when you make a trip to the dentist, but this event was the exception! The afternoon was marked with nibbles and a glass of bubbles upon arrival, just as a small token to help take the edge off.  This was followed up by a free consultation with an Invisalign professional.

What did the Invisalign Open Day provide?

As well as the delicious finger food, this event gave members of the community a free 30-minute Invisalign consultation, including 3D Digital scans and Invisalign treatment photography, this was quite an involved process and requires the use of specialised equipment. Of course, this meant there was limited placements available, which is why bookings were essential. All these services would normally cost over $400 and were provided completely free, and with no commitment required.

In addition to this, if you happened to take up a prescribed Invisalign orthodontic plan, they were offering a special for this dental service. This event was once again a success and all available appointment spots filled prior to the event, and with all these complimentary services it's no wonder why!

The Ins and Outs of Invisalign

Invisalign is for all intents and purposes the most modern interpretation of dental braces. While both traditional metal braces and ceramic braces are still available, Invisalign is also a teeth-straightening orthodontic treatment system which gradually helps moves your teeth into a new alignment. However, the key difference of this treatment is that it is performed using clear, removable aligners customised for your teeth. For the most part this orthodontic treatment is so hard to spot unless you are really looking for it, but what's best is under certain circumstances you have the benefit of being able to remove these aligners.

This means when you have those special events such as a birthday or school photo day, or even when you are playing certain sports you can easily remove the Invisaligners.
