NORCROSS, Ga. - AussieJournal -- The Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers appointed Elizabeth Gentry, Ph.D., as its Global Director of Strategic Alliances in September.
A longtime IISE member, leader and instructor, Gentry will focus on strategic growth through expansion of customer and member markets through enterprise partnerships, conferences, corporate training and development, B2B partner branding and strategic partner alliances.
Gentry will create and manage IISE's 130 current partners in industry and academia, domestic and international. She will also manage sponsorship opportunities, including university sponsorships at the IISE Annual Conference & Expo, and serve as a problem-solver for industrial and systems engineers, companies and universities.
"I'm excited to build on IISE's strong foundation by developing meaningful partnerships that create value for our members, our partners and the industrial and systems engineering profession," she said. "I'm especially looking forward to strengthening existing relationships while finding new ways for organizations to engage with IISE and our community."

"Liz brings a unique combination of deep knowledge of IISE, strong relationships across our community, and a clear understanding of the value we can create through strategic partnerships," IISE CEO Don Greene said.
