Bonfire Cinema, a new multi-platform publisher with the mission to create and bring inspiring, entertaining and enlightening content across the mediums of Cinema, Theatre, Animation and Publishing to the public.
LOS ANGELES & SYDNEY - AussieJournal -- This is the second novel from Gunter Swoboda, his first being Mountains of the Sea about a young man, Walter Beaumont, raised in privilege, but breaking out of the comfort zone and becoming something greater than himself. Bonfire Cinema has also acquired the rights this book and his non-fiction, special edition release coming soon for Making Good Men Great: Surfing the New Wave of Masculinity. Bonfire will be releasing Amulets of Power, Book I – A Brian Poole Mystery late summer of 2024, but here is a sneak peek of the teaser trailer.
Amulets of Power, the first book in the Brian Poole Mysteries Trilogy, is written with his wife Lorin Josephson. Brian Poole thought he understood the world. A highly educated and experienced intelligence officer, working for a major security firm in London, and one of the Government's elite operatives, Brian's life was for the most part interesting and rewarding. Working closely with his best friend since childhood, Stewart Eggleston had been by his side throughout their time at school and the Army's Special Forces. Brian had the next phase of his life mapped out, or at least he thought he did. During what should have been a routine investigation, Brian is confronted by the inexplicable truth that magic exists and that both he and Stewart are inextricably involved in a millennia long struggle for power. Not only are they both linked to this fantastical and unbelievable world in this life, but they have been through many lifetimes, bound magically to always meet and forge their original bond as warrior companions. But even stranger and more disconcerting is that Brian's assistant Rhonwen and his colleague Keira are also linked to this ancient magic. Brian, Stuart, Rhonwen and Keira are all ignorant of their inheritance as members of families that can trace their origins back to the time before Druids and stumble into a plot to bring magic back to the modern world. Now it is up to them to recover the powers of Amulets from a world long forgotten and hold back the Evil of Celtic Lore from smashing through the 21st century.
