BRISBANE, Australia - AussieJournal -- Cryptsoft's KMIP and PKCS#11 SDKs now include support for interoperable post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms. Cryptsoft's new PQC-enabled SDKs are an enhancement to its existing market-leading SDKs and include verified and interoperable support for NIST's (National Institute of Standards and Technology) standardized post-quantum cryptographic algorithms: ML-KEM (FIPS 203), ML-DSA (FIPS 204), and SLH-DSA (FIPS 205).
With progress towards cryptographically relevant quantum computers (CRQC) accelerating, organizations that cryptographically protect their data have been looking to transition from the PQC planning phase to the PQC testing phase for some time but have been frustrated by a lack of PQC-readiness in the available products and technologies.
PQC-readiness in security products has been dependent on standards (NIST, KMIP, PKCS#11, IETF LAMPS) being defined and published and PQC-ready versions of popular cryptographic toolkits (OpenSSL Library, Bouncy Castle) becoming available. With these dependencies now resolved, PQC-ready products including Cryptsoft's key management SDKs, are now available.

Licensing and implementing Cryptsoft's latest SDKs with support for all three NIST PQC algorithms offers a clear path for CISO's and Product Managers to confidently navigate the challenges that will be created by cryptographically relevant quantum computers.
"It has been a long journey from proposed post-quantum algorithms to deployable implementations in the market. By updating our SDKs to KMIP v3.0 and PKCS#11 v3.2, the first PQC-ready versions of their respective standard, current and future users of our SDKs will have the PQC tools to effectively and proactively protect their data assets. With our successful completion of a multi-vendor KMIP PQC interoperability test, Cryptsoft licensees can confidently deploy solutions today that will remain safe in the quantum computing future"
