NASHVILLE, Tenn. - AussieJournal -- The Administration of the Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition today announced the names of the members of the competition Screening Jury for the Young Musician I & II categories (ages 6 - 10 and 11 - 15). They are responsible for listening to recorded performances of the best young interpreters of the music of Frédéric Chopin from around the world and admitting contestants to the live competition to be held October 14-15 in Nashville, TN.
Competition Artistic Director, Dr. Graciella Kowalczyk, made public the names of renowned pianists Michael Gurt, Konstantin Soukhovetski, Sergey Sultanov, Nino Ushikishvili, and Congyu Wang who will perform the screening.

Dr. Kowalczyk was quoted as saying "The Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition believes that it is critical to our success and to our applicant's participation to have a diverse, large group of the finest artists listening to all divisions, guaranteeing a variety of opinions and backgrounds to uncover the top talents and counterbalance each others' opinions of the performances. Our process upholds the Competition's core values of transparency, fairness, and integrity by having a remarkably experienced and qualified group of world-class artists judging the screening round for all ages."
