The features of an LMS are what drive its functionality. Organisations should think about their business needs and what functionality they might need to support them. This might include learning pathways, reporting analytics, gamification or accessibility. Beyond just functions, there are more considerations surrounding the LMS. These include relative advantage, trial vs implementation, the user experience, compatibility, blended (or hybrid) learning and workforce planning.
