California CRV is Finished! Or is it Just the Beginning of a Bigger, Better and Cleaner State Recycling Program?
LOS ANGELES - AussieJournal -- With the closing of nearly 300 CRV Re-Planet recycling sites throughout California, a large portion of the state's residents are left not knowing where to bring their recyclables to redeem their deposits from the popular beverage container recycling program. As a result, recyclers have been left scrambling to fill the void left in the wake of Re-Planet's abrupt closures.
Emergency legislation in Assembly Bill 54 (AB-54) was proposed and promptly signed by Governor Gavin Newsome that will assist recyclers financially in these endeavors. Although this bill pumps 5 million dollars into the CA CRV market, it alone does not help recycle center operators directly to efficiently run their difficult day to day operations.
This is where one of the most widely used and highest rated recycling software companies in the Scrap and Recycling Industry, ScrapRight Software steps in. With Governor Newsome's signing of AB-54, ScrapRight announces that they are offering their highly touted, intuitive, and easy-to-use iScrapRight software package at an unprecedented low rate to help assist recyclers to run their CRV businesses.

iScrapRight is a wonderful solution for these CRV collection sites to manage their ticketing, pricing, and printing of receipts. Additionally, it generates essential reports such as daily purchase summaries, cutoffs, and cashier reconciliation reports, making dealing with the state or your processor a breeze and can save business owners from having to perform hours of manual calculations after work.
A 14-day free trial is available when the app is downloaded from the Apple App Store to an iPad or it can be initiated from their website at www.iScrapRight.com. Once the trial is over, a CRV business can subscribe at a low rate of $79.99 per month. A discounted initial sign up fee of $1499 includes an iPad-mini with rugged protective case, your choice of a Bluetooth portable or desktop printer for receipts, a case of paper and personalized online training to ensure successful implementation. Your first month's subscription is also included in this up front investment cost of the software.

Recycling companies that have multiple locations can inquire with ScrapRight management for custom plans and monthly pricing as multi-location discounts are offered. For those recyclers that purchase other materials in addition to CRV such as non-ferrous scrap metals like copper and aluminum, the app also ensures compliance through their built-in proprietary compliance engine. Images of materials, driver's license scanning, signatures and more are handled by the software. More information on pricing and features for various plans are available at www.iscrapright.com and www.scrapright.com.
