This captivating piece drew international acclaim with its stunning blend of black opal, mother of pearl, and titanium, swirling together to depict a graceful stingray at the heart of a wave.

Showcasing the natural allure of Australian black opals—among the rarest gemstones globally—Whirlpool Stingray was a centerpiece at Milano's celebrated Artistar Jewelry Exhibition, held at Palazzo Bovara on Corso Venezia 51 in Milan. Alongside this piece, four masterful works from Xu's Eternal Wildlife Collection were also displayed: Whirlpool Stingray, Golden Scarab, Overjoy Magpie, and Guardians, each a tribute to opal's beauty and the theme of wildlife preservation.

Once a digital game producer in China, Cindy's journey into jewellery design began after moving to Australia with her husband, she developed an immediate fascination with opals while visiting the mining towns of Lightning Ridge and Coober Pedy. Since then, she has dedicated herself to expanding opal jewellery's  appeal to a new generation of admirers, completing her training at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
