Independent retailer brings together selvedge denim, workwear and military-inspired clothing, with garment measurements and practical fit information.
MELBOURNE, Australia - AussieJournal -- Hidden Stitch Supply is introducing its online heritage menswear shop, bringing a carefully chosen range of selvedge denim, workwear and military-inspired clothing to customers in Australia and overseas. Based in Melbourne, the independent business opened in September 2026.
Founded by Mark, the shop grew out of his search for well-made clothing at accessible prices. Its range draws on Chinese clothing brands and manufacturers, with an emphasis on fabric, construction, useful details and everyday wear.
The collection is deliberately small. It includes raw selvedge jeans, cotton chore coats, denim jackets, corduroy hunting jackets and cotton shirts. Recent additions include OG-107 fatigue pants and 15.5 oz raw selvedge straight jeans.
Product descriptions explain fabric weights, construction details and fit, supported by product-specific garment measurements. Where needed, sizes are presented using familiar US sizing conventions. Fit notes help explain differences between garments, and customers can contact Mark for help choosing a size.

The approach is intended to make unfamiliar brands easier to assess online. Buyers can read about a garment's materials, shape and practical details before deciding whether it suits their wardrobe. The shop's focus is on attainable prices and clear product information.
Alongside the clothing range, Hidden Stitch Supply publishes garment reviews and its 'The History of' editorial series. Recent articles explore the origins of jeans, chore coats, waxed jackets and OG-107 fatigue pants, connecting familiar designs with the jobs and conditions that shaped them.
