CotY™ (Contractor of the Year) Winners
ASHBURN, Va. - AussieJournal -- The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) named Metro Building and Remodeling Group LLC of Ashburn, Virginia the 2020 National CotY winner in the Finished Basements over $250,000 category in its annual awards competition. The awards ceremony was held Friday, April 24, 2020, during the NARI virtual "Evening of Excellence" celebration.
George Kall, president of Metro Building and Remodeling Group, said: "It's an honor and a great joy to see this project and our team recognized with this National CotY award by such a distinguished panel of remodeling industry experts. The same project also won a NARI Metro DC Chapter Capital CotY Award and a NARI Regional CotY Award in the same category this year."

Metro's entry was a finished basement created for a family that loves watching sporting events together and entertaining their friends and family. The basement includes a large recreation room, a custom wet bar, a playroom, a home office that quickly converts to a guest room with a full bath, an additional half bath, and a large home gym.
Each year, NARI presents CotY Awards to members from all across the United States who have demonstrated outstanding work in their remodeling projects. NARI received nearly 500 entries representing over $138M in remodeling projects nationwide.
NARI is a national professional association whose members voluntarily subscribe to a strict code of ethics and a commitment to design, best practices, integrity, high standards, and professionalism. The CotY Awards are the highest form of recognition of members' craftsmanship and innovation by industry leaders and peers.
