The company recently opened its 8th Urgent Care Center in Tallahassee, FL
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - AussieJournal -- Patients First TM, the largest urgent care operator in Tallahassee, Florida, which is owned and operated by Atlanta-based CRH Healthcare (CRH), added its eighth location, earlier this month. The new center, located near the intersection of Mahan Dr. and Buck Lake Road, will allow residents of East Tallahassee closer, convenient, patient-focused care from 8:00AM to 8:00PM, 7-days-a-week. The site will offer urgent care, COVID-19 evaluation and testing, occupational health, and limited primary care.
"We are excited to expand our network to serve patients in Tallahassee," said Bill Miller, CEO of CRH Healthcare. "We understand that our business is about providing convenient, high-quality care, and part of that convenience is about locating centers as close to our patients as possible. Tallahassee has trusted Patients First for over 25 years, and we wanted to repay that trust by building a new state-of-the-art facility nearer to some of our patients. When you are sick or injured you don't want to drive far for care."

The center shares a common electronic medical record system with the other 7 Tallahassee Patients First centers, has online check-in and registration capabilities, an on-site lab, and a digital x-ray suite to better serve its patients.
Urgent care services include treatment for injuries and illnesses that require attention but that are not life-threatening. Examples include COVID-19 testing, flu-like symptoms, strep throat, minor burns, pink eye, ear/skin infections, lacerations, STD testing and treatment, sprains, and other illnesses and injuries. These centers allow a patient to be treated more quickly, and at a much lower cost than an E.R., and to not have to wait a week or more to be seen by their primary care physician. In addition to urgent care services, the clinic also offers occupational health services that include physicals (e.g., pre-employment, annual, & DOT), worker's compensation injury treatment, and drug testing, including eScreens. Like the other Patients First centers, they accept most insurance plans except Capital Health, which has turned down requests for them to be in-network.
Patient First will continue its expansion next year with a location in Crawfordsville adjacent to the new Publix. The new facility will be identical to the Buck Lake center.
