SEATTLE - AussieJournal -- For 29 years the PRO Awards, presented by Chief Marketer, has been the world's leading recognition program for excellence in brand activation and promotion marketing. This year, out of 1,000+ entries, Seattle-based UviaUs was one of three companies recognized in the category Best Use of Disruptive Marketing for their work on behalf of BillingTree, a financial payment technology company.
The campaign goals for BillingTree included getting the attention of high-level financial decision makers in large organizations across a range of industries - not an easy task.
UviaUs helped strategize an experiential marketing plan that targeted BillingTree's top 100 prospects with a high-value deliverable that would immediately capture their attention, educate them about their offering, and leave a remarkable, lasting brand impression.

The solution involved mailing 100 rugged BillingTree-branded cases, each secured with two combination padlocks. The catch? The combination was not included. The only way to open the case was to contact a BillingTree representative.
The agency created a second, additional surprise. Opening the case revealed a video player embedded in the lid that automatically played an animated pitch video specifically designed for the target audience and campaign.
In purely numerical terms, over 60% of prospects who received the experience have reached out to BillingTree, and 15% of those prospects have converted to opportunities. To date, BillingTree has closed over a quarter of those opportunities, with a revenue of $160k. The campaign delivered an impressive ROI of over 700%!
