Innovative patent concept combines measuring, leveling, adjustability and overhead support in one drywall installation tool.
CHICAGO - AussieJournal -- The Drywall Helper is a patent-concept tool designed to help simplify several common steps involved in drywall installation.
Featuring an expandable configuration with measurement scales, built-in levels, locking pins and a threaded socket, the Drywall Helper is designed to assist users with measuring, positioning and supporting drywall.
The expandable wings can be adjusted to the desired measurement, allowing the tool to assist when measuring and marking drywall for cutting. Built-in levels provide additional assistance with positioning.
For overhead applications, the threaded socket is designed to accept a standard telescopic painting pole. This allows the Drywall Helper to provide support beneath a drywall panel while the installer positions and fastens it into place.
