CANBERRA, Australia - AussieJournal -- Lack of support, too many moving parts and ambiguous accessibility. These are just three common pitfalls organisations find themselves in after selecting a poor learning management system (LMS). The Acorn subject matter experts have recently crafted an LMS Feasibility Study spreadsheet to help guide organisations in avoiding such pitfalls when selecting future LMS software. A feasibility study is a fancy name for assessing the practicality of a proposed plan. The feasibility template can be found in Acorn's recent article here: https://bit.ly/3uOQ2Ve
The feasibility study takes place after potential suppliers have completed a request for proposal, or RFP. It serves as a master guide for comparing RFP responses easily. Fundamentally the study boils to one question: "Is this feasible?"
In addition to the template, the Acorn experts help guide organisations with key questions to ask such as "Are our requirements available?", "What are the costs?" and "What is our ROI?". They hope these questions, along with information about common pitfalls, will help organisations avoid issues in the future.

"The real value of an LMS isn't found in the price paid, but in how well it addresses the needs of your organisation and users," says Blake Proberts (Co-Founder & Managing Director).
"A feasibility study will help you understand what you need and if an LMS is a sustainable solution, so you don't find yourself stunted by an ill-fitting system or running over budget trying to make it to work for you."
