ProEssentialsJS free means free. No watermark. No feature gates. No expiry. No reduced feature set. It is the same engine a paying customer gets. There is no license key, no activation, no domain locking, no registration, and nothing in the package contacts Gigasoft at build time or run time.

Highcharts is licensed CC Attribution-NonCommercial. SciChart's Community edition watermarks every chart and requires an update every six months or the application stops working. An individual may use ProEssentialsJS for personal projects, study, hobbies or research, with no revenue test. Accredited schools, colleges and universities, together with their students and faculty, may use it free for coursework and academic research regardless of the institution's size. Anyone may build and sell a course, tutorial or book about it.

Underneath the JavaScript API is a desktop engine.
