SYDNEY - AussieJournal -- Agentic AML ( www.agenticaml.com.au ) has officially launched to support Australian small and medium sized businesses as the country moves toward Tranche 2 AML/CTF reforms, a shift that will bring thousands of new businesses into the AUSTRAC regulated sector. As Australia heads toward these reforms, one reality has become impossible to ignore: SMEs are about to face big business compliance obligations without big business resources.
Many small and medium sized businesses, including existing reporting entities and soon to be regulated real estate professionals, lawyers and accountants, do not have access to the expertise, operational capability and technology that larger organisations rely on to meet AML/CTF requirements.
Having spent years working with some of Australia's most heavily regulated organisations, including banks, casinos, bullion dealers and other entities subject to the AML/CTF Act since 2006, the team behind Agentic AML has seen firsthand what works, what fails, and what it truly takes to build and maintain an effective and sustainable AML/CTF framework. That experience made the gap clear, and created the opportunity for something new. A practical and scalable outsourced compliance service designed specifically for SMEs. Agentic AML was created to take nearly two decades of AML/CTF operational experience, program design expertise, remediation lessons, technology insight and regulatory engagement knowledge, and make it accessible to businesses that need real support without the cost and complexity of building internal AML teams.
