PHOENIX - AussieJournal -- Apricus Health, an innovative technology-enabled value-based care healthcare company, today announced the launch of the Apricus Foundation. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit's purpose is to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone in the community. The Apricus Foundation aims to address inequalities in healthcare by setting up clinics in underserved communities to provide robust services to treat chronic diseases, telehealth, support for behavioral health treatments and free educational events.

To raise funds to establish medical clinics in underserved communities, the foundation is hosting a gala event on October 29, 2021 at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. A special awards ceremony at the event will honor outstanding individuals or organizations for their contributions to excellence in healthcare, including those who have gone the extra mile during the pandemic. "It's important to recognize and thank the dedicated individuals in healthcare who have made an impact during the Covid-19 pandemic," said Dr. Kishlay Anand, president and CEO of Apricus Health and Apricus Foundation board member. In the spirit of giving back to those in the healthcare community, the foundation is also organizing a CME Educational Conference on October 30, 2021 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa; this event will be offered virtually as well. Primary care physicians across Arizona are expected to attend to receive education credits.
