SYDNEY - AussieJournal -- The 2025 Australian Public Decency & Nudity Clarification Bill has gained over 3,300 signatures, yet despite growing public support and extensive global research proving the health benefits of naturism, Australian federal and state health ministers have yet to engage with the issue.

Numerous international studies confirm that naturism contributes to improved mental and physical health, including reduced stress, enhanced body positivity, and greater connection with nature. Many countries officially recognise and support naturism as a healthy practice, yet in Australia, federal and state health ministers have not responded to NaturismRE's letters and invitations to support this Bill.

Despite clear evidence and international acceptance of naturism as a beneficial lifestyle, public nudity remains a sensitive topic, leading to hesitation in addressing the issue. So far, responses from officials have been limited, often redirecting the matter rather than addressing it head-on.

"It is disappointing that, despite clear evidence and widespread public support, our government officials have yet to engage with this discussion. We are simply asking for a fair and evidence-based approach to an issue that affects many Australians and visitors," said Vincent, Founder & Elder of NaturismRE.
