Cancer Council is the only Australian charity to work across every area of cancer from research and advocacy to prevention and support. They help people from the point of diagnosis through to treatment and survivorship. Cancer Council's Pink Ribbon campaign aims to raise awareness about breast and gynaecological cancers, as well as raise funds for prevention programs, support services and vital cancer research.
"We are honoured to be showcasing the Pink Ribbon Collection on our website this year," says Sue McDonald, Director of PR and Corporate Sponsorship at Bloomex. "We want to help raise funds for the fundamental work Cancer Council is doing in cancer research, prevention and support, as well as help brighten someone's day."
Professor Sanchia Aranda, CEO, Cancer Council Australia said that Cancer Council was delighted to be receiving support from Bloomex this October. "As a charity Cancer Council relies on the generosity of community donations to fund our work. We're extremely grateful to Bloomex for their continued support of Cancer Council and our Pink Ribbon Campaign to raise vital funds to support those affected by breast and gynaecological cancers."
