DALLAS - AussieJournal -- HELM Audio™, a leader in safe-listening and child-focused audio technology, today announced a strategic partnership with PQCrypto, a pioneer in post-quantum cryptography (PQC), to protect HELM customer data against emerging quantum-era security threats.
The collaboration integrates NIST-standardized post-quantum encryption across HELM's cloud, mobile, and device infrastructure—ensuring that sensitive data related to children's hearing health, sound exposure, and safety analytics remains secure not just today, but decades into the future.
As quantum computing advances, traditional public-key encryption methods such as RSA and ECC are expected to become vulnerable. Data encrypted today—particularly long-lived personal and health-related data—can be harvested now and decrypted later. HELM's adoption of PQCrypto's Post-Quantum Cryptography-as-a-Service (PQCaaS) platform directly addresses this risk.
"As a parent, I don't think in product cycles—I think in lifetimes," said Tim Johnston, CTO and Board Member at HELM Audio.
"Children's data deserves protection that lasts as long as they do. By integrating post-quantum cryptography now, we're future-proofing HELM's platform so families can trust that their children's hearing and safety data will remain secure well into the quantum era."

Through this partnership, HELM will deploy quantum-resistant encryption, key exchange, and digital signing mechanisms across its ecosystem, including:
PQCrypto's platform enables drop-in PQC integration with zero disruption, automatic cryptographic algorithm migration as standards evolve, and centralized cryptographic lifecycle management—allowing HELM to remain compliant with future regulatory and security mandates without requiring product redesigns.
"HELM Audio is setting an important precedent for consumer technology companies—especially those serving children," said Rajinder Singh, Founder & CEO of PQCrypto.
"By adopting post-quantum cryptography today, HELM is demonstrating leadership in long-term data protection, privacy, and trust."
This partnership reinforces HELM's broader mission to safeguard children through technology—combining safe-listening hardware, AI-driven monitoring, and now quantum-resilient security into a single, forward-looking platform.
