GYMPIE, Australia - AussieJournal -- Hot Tree Publishing is thrilled to announce the release of "Daughter of the Drowned," the first book in the highly anticipated The Darkness Duet series by emerging author Kerry Williams. This dark and mesmerizing fantasy romance will be available in bookstores and online on February 20, 2025.

"Daughter of the Drowned" is a spellbinding blend of dark romance, romantasy, and portal fantasy that transports readers into a world where The Sixth Sense meets Greek Mythology. The novel follows Lovely Timms, a young woman haunted by spectral visions since a near-drowning incident four years prior. Her quest to uncover the truth behind these hauntings leads her to the mystical city of New Orleans, accompanied by her childhood friend Tino. As Lovely's supernatural abilities intensify, she finds herself entangled in a dangerous and alluring relationship with Death, who beckons her with a voice as tempting as it is foreboding.
