SYDNEY - AussieJournal -- Noizend Pty Ltd, an Australian innovator in low-frequency active noise control for urban environments, is excited to announce that it has received a technology donation valued at US$21,360 from Autodesk's Technology Impact Program. The donation includes software licenses for Autodesk's Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection (AEC), providing Noizend with essential tools to advance the development of its cutting-edge noise-cancelling technology, the Noizend Shield.
The Noizend Shield, an ingenious active noise control (ANC) solution, is set to revolutionise the battle against chronic low-frequency noise pollution in urban areas. With the support of the Autodesk software, Noizend will be able to model, simulate, and optimise the Noizend Shield with unprecedented precision. This technological boost will significantly accelerate the deployment of the Noizend Shield in battery energy storage systems (BESS) used to provide community solar energy solutions in the suburbs. BESS is an important step in the energy transition to Net Zero. Also live music venues and industrial buildings, marking a significant step forward in the fight against urban noise pollution.

Noizend's development has reached an exciting stage, with pilot projects already planned in collaboration with leading Australian venues and businesses. The Noizend Shield promises to offer real-time noise cancellation using AI-optimised algorithms and Internet of Things sensors, significantly reducing the harmful effects of low-frequency noise in urban environments.
Quote from George Tulloch, CTO of Noizend:
"We are thrilled to be part of Autodesk's Technology Impact Program. This software will be instrumental in bringing our Noizend Shield technology to life, allowing us to create quieter and more harmonious urban spaces. Autodesk's support demonstrates their commitment to innovative solutions addressing sustainability challenges, and we are proud to have their backing as we work to mitigate the growing issue of noise pollution. Noizend's mission is to make a social or environmental impact by addressing the global problem of excessive noise pollution in the urban environment that the United Nations recognised as a Planetary Crisis in 2022."
