"I love coming to the conference. Just being around a group of people that share the same passion for ergonomics that I do is very refreshing," Maya Peleg, an Applied Ergonomics Society board member, said in a Problem Solved podcast at Applied Ergo 2026 in Arlington, Texas. "It's just a great experience and great to see all the creativity and see some old friends."
"I think the conversations that we have here at the conference really are special," echoed AES board colleague Madeline Shoot. "It's rare that I think we get to have these passionate conversations with people who are just as passionate as us. And sometimes you make some great friends along the way."
Another conference highlight is the prestigious Ergo Cup ® Competition in which dozens of front-line workers from participating organizations display their interventions to make job tasks easier, safer and more streamlined. Entries are accepted through Oct. 23.
