The Silicon Review magazine award SkillGigs one of the 50 nominations for this year's 'Best Companies to Watch'.
HOUSTON - AussieJournal -- SkillGigs, Inc., an eCommerce-style talent marketplace that connects professionals and employers in new and innovative ways, was nominated by The Silicon Review as one of the '50 Best Companies to Watch in 2022'. This list was published on July 20th, 2022 and is an annual selection process for The Silicon Review.
SkillGigs was first contacted back in March about being shortlisted for the accolade. The honor comes with an in-depth two-page feature about the company's differentiators, products, services, challenges, road-map, and how the CEO Kashif Aftab is driving the company forward. The Silicon Review also highlights how all 50 companies are giving their best to the business community and their effort towards the ecosystem.
"Even with different products and services, operational cultures, and varying management styles, successful businesses overlap in some fundamental ways," reads The Silicon Review website as a prelude to the full list. It goes on to read, "competition in the current market is fierce, and businesses that build core value to their employees and customers are winning."

"We are honored to not only be listed alongside a number of growing tech, software, service companies, but also for the opportunity to share our story," said CEO and Founder Aftab.
The two-page featured article, also available online [https://thesiliconreview.com/magazine/profile/skillgigs-talent-marketplace-innovation/] followed a question and answer format with Aftab. It offered personal insight from the leader on what SkillGigs is, the motivation behind the business, how SkillGigs challenges the status quo, and a peek into the future roadmap.
"I appreciated the opportunity to speak to critical moments that have brought us here," continues Aftab. "Especially the opportunity to discuss the complexities of 2020 and how our talent marketplace served as a critical resource during the height of the pandemic.
