MEDFORD, Mass. - AussieJournal -- The annual International Symposium on Forecasting (ISF), hosted by the International Institute of Forecasters (IIF), will be held at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville this year from June 25-28. Integrating academic research into forecasting practice, the ISF draws the world's top forecasters and researchers, as presenters and participants, to unveil and discuss the latest advances in the profession.

This year's event features forecasting-focused topics on macroeconomic forecasting, judgmental forecasting, electricity demand, inventory control and supply chains, forecast communication, machine learning, tourism, information technology, and forecasting for public good, among many others.
"The symposium provides a platform for leading forecasting professionals to reveal their insights into the field. With a stimulating scientific and practitioner agenda, and plenty of networking opportunities, ISF 2023 will be a truly memorable event," says Yael Grushka-Cockayne, general chair of ISF 2023 and professor at University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
The biennial Clive Granger Memorial Keynote Address, named in honor of the late professor emeritus at the University of California San Diego and Nobel Prize laureate, will be delivered by M. Ayhan Kose, World Bank Group.
