DDD Perth was founded in 2015 by Rob Moore and Matt Davies and while its heritage is as a developer-focused conference, DDD Perth is not just for developers. It's now an inclusive non-profit conference for the Perth software community with the goal of hosting an approachable event that appeals to the whole community, especially people that don't normally get to attend or speak at conferences. While DDD Perth no longer serves as an acronym, if pressed they might say it stands for Designer, Developer, Data Scientist or DevOps, Data Architect, Distributed Tester.
