Mr Farah Warsame, President of Somali Community Inc., recently completed the HWPL Peace Education Teacher's Education (PETE) program. He was honoured for his dedication to fostering peace as he received his certification as a Peace Educator during the event. This certification reflected the commitment of both HWPL and Somali Community Inc. to equip community leaders with the knowledge and tools to promote peace and understanding.
In March 2024, HWPL's youth division, the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG), collaborated with Somali Community Inc. to conduct a successful youth empowerment workshop at the Djerring Hub.
