FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - AussieJournal -- Lineus Medical, maker of SafeBreak Vascular, has seen breakthrough clinical results at multiple hospital systems across the U.S. that validate the clinical and health-economic value proposition for SafeBreak, the first breakaway device for IV lines.
The cumulative data, cultivated through evidence-based medicine and demonstrated across tens of thousands of patients, is convincing and has clearly demonstrated SafeBreak's value, use, and adoption as a true standard of care. Based on the clinical success seen to date, additional capital has been raised to accelerate commercial efforts in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
To support this growth, the company has promoted Larry Hayes to President and Chief Commercial Officer. In his expanded role, Larry will oversee the company's marketing, sales, manufacturing, and human resources functions, consolidating operational leadership under a single point of accountability as Lineus scales its commercial operations.

"I'm honored to take on this role at such a pivotal moment for Lineus Medical. We have built tremendous momentum over the past year. Stepping into this role, alongside my commercial responsibilities, gives me a broader hand in how we scale our growth long-term. We're not changing direction, we're accelerating it," said Hayes.
"This new leadership structure, alongside recent investments, reflects the confidence we have in Lineus Medical's trajectory. Larry has been instrumental in establishing Lineus' Clinical Evidence Program through the Breakaway Impact Registry, a key to the company's commercial success. This expanded role positions Larry to help lead our next stage of growth," said Jonathon Fite, Chairman of the Board.
CEO and co-founder, Vance Clement, will continue to lead the company with a renewed passion on next generation vascular access solutions. "I am excited to focus on the long-term future of Lineus Medical and the scientific advancement of our intellectual property and product portfolio," said Vance Clement.

Additionally, Lineus announces the appointment of Pravin Raj to its Board of Directors. Mr. Raj's services and technology background to help organizations scale will complement the company's near-term commercialization and long-term portfolio development goals.
SafeBreak Vascular is a breakaway device for IV lines that separates when a damaging force is applied to IV lines, removing the damaging forces and protecting the patient's IV line. When separation occurs, valves on both ends of the device close to prevent medication spills from the pump, and blood loss from the patient. SafeBreak has been shown to reduce mechanical IV complications in a range of 44%-91%.1 The device is FDA-cleared for use across all vascular lines, CE Mark certified for use across the European Union, and is distributed across markets spanning more than three continents.
