Jasmine Lashawn's campaign to help 300+ businesses launch in the mist of Covid.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - AussieJournal -- From celebrities to NFL players, Jasmine Lashawn, CEO of Opulence Firm, has helped many notable individuals start, franchise and grow their businesses. In 2020, amidst the pandemic, she contributed to the opening of the first Black owned BP gas station in Jacksonville. The story of this feat became viral, garnering over 70 million views - also becoming the catalyst for Jasmine to shift her business mission to help 300+ individuals open franchises or start a business.
With over 14 years in public relations and 10 years in business consulting, Jasmine's firm will shift to focus on small business development. The change in her business model is important to her on a personal level.

At the age of 19, Jasmine was diagnosed with epilepsy and deemed 100 percent disable. This diagnosis, in a sense, left her unemployable due to employers fear of her having a seizure while on the job. Jasmine is using her experience as a testament to overcoming her challenges and inspiring others that have been diagnosed to do the same. She says, "Alot of people have great skills but are not working due to the notions that people have about epilepsy. For that reason, I want it to be known that I want to hire individuals with disabilities such as epilepsy or make them business owners."
Despite the pandemic, 2020 saw a surge in entrepreneurship, with 67% of entrepreneurs showing interest in pursuing new market opportunities. (forbes.com) The Opulence Firm will help new and existing entrepreneurs secure their space in the marketplace.
