BroadSource is proud to announce that we have been named the APJC Top Winner in the prestigious Cisco Partner Innovation Challenge for 2024.
MELBOURNE, Australia - AussieJournal -- Our innovative solution, SecureCall, was recognised for its groundbreaking approach to minimising risks associated with processing payments over phone calls using Webex technology.
Cisco announced yesterday that, "SecureCall minimises PII misuse risks during phone payments via Webex, offering a cost-effective, PCI-compliant payment solution at a time when cybersecurity and PCI compliance costs are rising." By integrating with Webex Calling and Webex Contact Center, SecureCall ensures that sensitive customer card details are removed from the conversation, allowing businesses to outsource card detail capture securely and efficiently.
The solution is designed to scale economically across all Webex endpoints, from SMEs to large enterprises, government bodies, hospitality, and contact centers. Cisco noted that "SecureCall allows businesses to outsource card detail capture while staff converse with customers on Webex calls, securing any Webex service." This seamless integration enables businesses to meet PCI-DSS compliance without the need for IVR transfers or payment links, enhancing both security and customer experience.

SecureCall was praised for its "just-in-time call security" feature, which allows staff to activate the solution via the embedded WebApp in the Webex Client and guide customers through the payment process. Customers simply enter their card details using their phone keypad, while the SecureCall app shows masked details to the staff member, ensuring a secure and smooth transaction.
With this award, BroadSource is advancing to the global finals, where winners will be announced at the Cisco Partner Summit later this month.
"We are incredibly honoured to be selected as the APJC ANZ top winner. We truly appreciate Cisco's confidence in our team and the potential of our innovation," said Haydn Faltyn, BroadSource CEO. "This recognition from Cisco underscores the transformative impact SecureCall is having on businesses across the region. We're excited about the opportunity to take SecureCall to the next level and look forward to competing on the global stage."
